I hope your pain is over soon! Or at least that they give you an idea of when to expect the next in the series. The not-knowing would be awful! Even if a publishing date is a long time away, at least one can still count down the time. Which sort of helps. Kind of. :)

And thanks! My biggest wait right now is just until November. Which is fast approaching the way this year is zipping along!Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09590701834142754842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087298869735390985.post-68440533233137808962015-06-21T02:13:41.931-04:002015-06-21T02:13:41.931-04:00My problem was I didn't know it would be a ser...My problem was I didn't know it would be a series until it finished abruptly, and I was like, "Wait, what?"

Good luck with your waits! May the pain of wait be eased with many another good book. :)Reading in the Darkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13812641480668564435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087298869735390985.post-6409328642134652452015-06-16T19:23:39.642-04:002015-06-16T19:23:39.642-04:00Oh Hannah. Clearly I broke it with The Lunar Chronicles. Oh how I broke it! Because this waiting is interminable. *heaves a big sigh*

But for most regular stand alones I do anticipate the books, especially from favorite authors, yet the wait isn't that hard. Because I've not read anything in the story yet, so I haven't gotten fully invested. Therefore I can just anticipate and read other fun books meanwhile. :)

(Note to self: You MUST enforce your series rule much more in the future! Learn from your mistakes, Kara. I wish I'd've waited to read the whole series until now because this waiting is HARD. But I've loved every book so far, so clearly I couldn't actually wait do that. *sigh* Why do series have to be so awesome and the books published so far apart?!

Yay for bookish excitement! I love anticipating books! And yes, our many convos kind of clued me in to this awesomeness about you. ;) Yay for bookish excitement!

November is truly the month for books this year. So many seem to be coming out then. As a kid, I didn't read a lot of series that hadn't already been completed. The only one that really would matter was Harry Potter, and when the last two came out, I was too busy with school and other responsibilities to be seriously focused on release dates. I'm a big fan of classics and a very slow reader, so most of my favorite authors are either dead or writing faster than I'm reading. So, Kelley Armstrong's Age of Legends series is what did it for me. Waited a year for the second one, finished it in two days, and now I have to wait more than a year for the next. (It's not even scheduled for release yet!) This is torture; I don't know how you stand it.Reading in the Darkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13812641480668564435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087298869735390985.post-53727159419402827202015-06-10T17:57:22.176-04:002015-06-10T17:57:22.176-04:00You are not alone in your book excitement! I count down the days!!

So I have all the books for Lunar Chronicles waiting for me and I've decided I'm going to re-read the first two and then the ones I need to read right before Winter comes out. Then I can snatch Winter right up and not have to wait forever (which happens with every other series for me!) :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16463977985232229217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087298869735390985.post-2626198903194635212015-06-10T01:56:57.721-04:002015-06-10T01:56:57.721-04:00This post is so fun, Kara!!
