Goodnight Dear Void...

Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life - well, valuable, but small - and sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void.

This is for Amber, who says she's known at the "You've Got Mail" Quoting Queen! :D (Which totally makes sense. I mean, this movie is simply so quotable!)

  1. Amber is AWESOME at movie quotes. Not sure how she stores all that epic-ness, but I love her tweets like this. :)

  3. A whole post dedicated to You've Got Mail and my penchant for quoting it?? SO cool!! And this is such a great, thought-provoking scene to quote. :) Thank you so much for sharing this and tagging me!

P.S. Aww, Rissi! You guys are going to make me blush. :) But don't get me going... Or else you'll end up with a flood of movie-quote tweets, haha. BTW, I do sometimes check the actual phrasing via Google, because I'm afraid of posting a quote that I've misheard. ;)

    1. You are entirely welcome, Amber! The movie is awesome, your ability to quote it is awesome, everything is awesome! :D

I definitely vote for more movie quoting tweets! And I have to do that as well actually. Or I turn on the closed captions while watching. Because sometimes what I think I heard and what was actually said are two very different things! ;)

    1. Yes! Sleepless in Seattle is awesome as well! I have watched both movies multiple times and never get tired of them. They're so much fun! :)

This particular quote is one of my favorites, Jamie. The first time I heard it, it just struck me with how much truth is in it. About my life at least.

  5. Oh, how I love this movie! Been much too long since I watched it -- maybe this weekend! Such a sweet, sweet story. I like it even better than Sleepless in Seattle, which I also dearly love.

    1. Both movies are awesome and wonderful, Hamlette! I never seem to tire of watching either one. I fell in love with Sleepless in Seattle and I remember being beyond excited when I found out Tom and Meg were doing another movie together! SO good. :)
