Hello all! Yes. I'm still here. I know I've been a little scarce the past couple weeks. Hardly any posts, hardly any commenting on blogs. I have been on Twitter, but that's because it's easy to access on my phone. Whereas blogging isn't and I haven't been motivated to turn on my computer much.
I've decided that it's the heat. The heat that's been happening around here has sucked all my motivation clean away! (Hence the title: heat is greater than my motivation.) I mean, it has been well over a 100 for over a week now. And believe me, humidity or no, when the temperature gets over 100, it's miserable! Ugh. It's been perfectly awful, but today it got a little better. It "cooled down" to the mere 90s. It's a cold front! haha (Yes, that is sarcasm in case you were wondering.)
I had a wonderful 4th of July! I hope all my American readers did too. Fireworks are simply way more awesome when you have a trio of little girls aged 4 and under, giggling and laughing and cheering "Do another one! Do another one! Do another one!". :D Gotta love kids.
Anyway, this is just a short little note to let you know that I am still around. I will hopefully get a post or two written this weekend. (I do actually have a couple ideas thankfully!) For sure some more reviews are coming up! I've gotten two more books read this week and hoping to add a third or a fourth to that number. We'll see.

DeleteYeah, that's 100 degrees FH not Celsius. Guess I should have clarified, sorry about that. But I do like summertime myself! Just not when it's that hot. It makes me not want to do anything at all. Zaps all my energy and I stay inside. But it's cooling down now! So yay for that. :D

I know what you mean, Rissi! This year has just flown by. Flown! I had four whole days off of work because of the holiday and now that's in the past. Craziness.
