30 Days of Books :: Day 14

Hey look! I'm back! :) Hello lovelies, I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you're in the US) and that your Christmas season has gotten off to a good start. My long weekend was absolutely fabulous! Dad and I went on a trip and thus we were busy, busy. Then last week, life was just life and I simply couldn't find the enthusiasm to get online much. Hoping to change that this next week though! I have a couple book reviews coming up, plus there is always fun bookish things to be gushed over, yes? :)

Meanwhile! On to day 14!

Day 14 :: Your favorite book by your favorite writer

This is definitely easy! Based on my last 30 Days post, y'all are aware that I chose Katherine Reay as a favorite writer of mine. Thus, you've probably guessed (even without the picture attached here) which of her books is my favorite. That's right, A Portrait of Emily Price! I promise I won't wear you out with all my gushing, you should instead go read my review. But suffice it to say, I think this story is absolutely her best yet! I have reread my favorite scenes over and over and simply looking at the book on my shelves fills me with warm fuzzies. (Tell me I'm not the only one who has that happen! :) This story is certainly one you should move high on your TBR, I don't think you'll regret it at all. Trust me!

  1. This is good to know. I haven't read any of her books yet, but I do have Lizzy and Jane and hope to read it this month. If I like it, I'll check this one out too.

    1. Jenni: And now I'm anxiously awaiting to hear what you'll think of it! I so hope you enjoy. :)

Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of the internet! :)
