Hi Wednesday Hodgepodge, I'm Back!

I decided to join in again! I've thought about it for several weeks, but it just hadn't worked out. Today that changes! Here am I, going forth with the questions.

1. What's your favorite time of day? Why?

I don't like early morning, but maybe around 10 or 11am, once I'm good and woke up. It's nice daylight outside, I'm not too sleepy yet (afternoons make me want to nap), and evening is when it's getting dark. I like the daylight! Plus it's close to lunch and I do like to eat. ;)

2. Waffle iron, toaster, coffee maker, mixer, blender...which small appliance would you say most needs replacing in your house?

The mixer because I don't have one and I want one!

3. It's National Grouch Day (October 15)...what's something that makes you feel grouchy?

Really early mornings. Ugh!

4. Ever been to Canada? Is that a country you'd like to visit? According to Trip Advisor, the top ten best destinations in Canada are-Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Victoria, Calgary, Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls, Whistler, and Halifax. Which city would you most like to see?

Victoria or Niagara Falls. I have friends who've been to those places and brought back amazing pictures. I don't know anything about any of the other cities. (Also! I have a few blogging friends who live in Canada. I wouldn't mind getting the chance to go visit them! :)

5. What was your favorite food (or one of your favorites) when you were a child? Is that still a favorite?

Peanut butter, mayo, and banana sandwiches. And absolutely NOT a favorite! *shudders* I have no idea what on earth I was thinking.

6. Do you cry easily?

Yes. Weddings, funerals, movies, when someone else starts crying, I'm a waterworks machine! And I really wish I weren't.

7. Have you started your (gasp!) Christmas shopping? If so when, and how much? If not, when will you even begin thinking about it?

I have thought about it. But actual shopping has not been involved. At this point, I have no idea when it'll begin. Hopefully soon!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Hodgepodgers, it's good to be back,
I knew there was something I lacked.
I'll join in
Hopefully again,
Meanwhile, I'll go have a snack.

(Yeah, not my best work.)

  1. Ha! So you ARE a poet and didn't know it. :-)) Okay, I had to read the part about peanut butter, mayo, and banana THREE TIMES to make sure it wasn't a typo or something. LOL Mayo? Really? But it is crazy the things we loved as kids. I've no cause to judge. I ate ketchup on my macncheese and on scrambled eggs. :-) (from your newest follower)

    1. I suppose I am! ;)

Oh, I know! Believe me, I know. I shudder to imagine putting such a combo in my mouth nowadays. Mayo and peanut butter do NOT go together. At all! It's beyond crazy what we liked as children.

And thank you for the follow! :)

  3. Oh my! My grandmother used to serve us kids those very same sandwiches. =) I had forgotten all about that. =/ I'm with you, I don't know what we were thinking.
    Blessings,
    Valerie

    1. You mean I wasn't the only crazy one who eat those?! I suppose that's somewhat reassuring. Who can understand the way a child thinks?

Thank you for visiting, Valerie. :)

  4. Good golly, starting Christmas shopping!? I'm kind of freaking out seeing decorations show up in stores. But then again, yes, I probably should be thinking about shopping - especially since I'm always behind. Plus, Christmas songs have been stuck in my head, so... it's a sign. ;)

    1. I know, right?! Stores start putting up Christmas decorates WAY too early in my opinion. But I guess they didn't ask me, huh? I do know that I need to be actually doing the shopping now, instead of just thinking about it. I don't like to wait until the last minute, but alas.....

I love Christmas music! I sometimes listen to it year round. Does that make me crazy? Hope not. ;)

  5. So fun!!

    3) :D

    4) Now this one brought a big smile to my face as I imagined what it would have been like for me to answer this question. Why, yes I have been to the country! ;-) It's absolutely gorgeous. The Niagara Falls are very nice but so is the country's capital - Ottawa!

    6) Do not be ashamed! I also find myself tearing up easily!

    7) Christmas?? Lord have mercy, this cannot be happening so soon!

    1. Thank, Ganise! :)

And you were one of those blogging friends I mentioned. I hope to visit your country some day. Hopefully! I'll have to add all those places to my list.

Where has this year gone anyway?! It's crazy that it's November already. Craziness!

  6. Hehe, I'm not a morning person either, not at all! Getting up early is the worst!
I've been to Canada this summer and visited three places on the list in question 4: Toronto, Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. I loved it, but I would also add Ottawa to the list, such a nice city!

  7. Early mornings and me just don't have a very good relationship, Birdie. I'd rather sleep in! ;)

Ganise also mentioned Ottawa above, so it sounds like I should definitely be adding it to my list of places to visit some day.

Thanks for stopping by, my friend. :)
