The Crimson Field - set in a World War One Field Hospital in France.:

This series was short-lived, but wonderful! You should watch it. Trust me.
{Also? Richard Rankin is rather nice looking.}

  1. Squee! That's a lot of happy! :D

    You've Got Mail, cover reveal for The Sunken Realm, Cinderella releasing next week...yep, I'm happy, too!

    I'm also happy for joyous long-weekend memories and a re-read of Daddy-Long-Legs and finishing a novelette and coming back to WTC! :D

    Thanks for this sweet post, friend!

    1. I'm so glad you enjoyed my bits of happy, Amber! It's the little things that keep us going, isn't it? :)

      Yay for rereads of Daddy Long Legs! And DOUBLE YAY for getting back to WTC!!!! I am so excited for that one! Whenever you are able to finally call it ready for other eyes, I just know I'm going to love it. :D (And you have me most curious about the novelette you refer to. Is it one of your own or someone else's?)

    2. It's the little things, indeed - just as Judy says in DLL. We'll just sit by the wayside and pile up our little bits of happiness, right? :) (I just love that section about living in the now and making a big deal out of the little joys in life!)

      Speaking of DLL, I found out on Hamlette's blog that there's a sequel!! I think I've been living under a rock not to have known this! Already ordered a copy of the two-in-one version with both DLL and Dear Enemy. :) Can't wait to read it!

      And thanks so much for your enthusiasm for WTC and your faith in the story!! That means so much! :D When I polish it up a bit, if you're interested in beta reading, let me know. :) (No pressure, though! And it would be more of a for-fun thing, not like you'd have to proofread it. :))

      As for the novelette, this is my Sleeping Beauty / bee story I've been working on (Pinterest board). It's currently with my proofreader, and I *think* I'll be self-publishing it this fall. That's the plan, anyway! We'll see how the proofreader likes it... My dad gave it the thumbs-up, so there's that! ♥ (He's the first one to have read it, besides me, haha.)

    3. The little things, the bits of happiness, they keep us going, don't they? Joy is a happy thing!

      Yes! Dear Enemy is just as fun. I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts! I've read it several times, just have yet to purchase a physical copy for myself. :)

      I will always be excited for your stories! You have skills, my friend. A gift. I love that you share them with us! :) I feel quite privileged that you even asked me to beta read. Your stories just make me happy. :)

    1. It is indeed, Emma! Very good eye. :) He plays quite a different sort of character in this drama and I really enjoyed his performance. The Crimson Field is very wonderful! Hope you get a chance to watch it some day.

  4. It's Mosley from Downton Abbey! I need to watch this just to see what it's like. It looks good just based on the cover and cast.

    1. Jenni: It is! He plays a very different sort of character in this, but I think he did a great job. I really, really liked this drama! It got cancelled, so there's not a great deal of tying up of loose ends. (Just fyi.) But overall, the ending satisfied me and I loved all the characters. Even the not so loveable ones! Let me know what you think of it, if you get the chance to watch. :)

  6. Picked up our copy of Cinderella today! We're having a couple of my kids' friends over tomorrow, and the girls are all going to watch it together :-) (The boys are going to play with Legos, I expect.) I love that novelization too -- the cover is amazing, and I love the illustrations.
