Hello, my lovelies! I am SO pleased to be sharing the wonderful cover of Rachel Kovaciny's newest book coming out very soon! Ms. Kovaciny has been slowly writing an intriguing series of books based on fairytales set in the old west. She is a good (real life!! :) friend of mine, but is also a wonderful author in her own right. So it pleases me to share her awesomeness with the world. :)

Ooooo! Isn't it gorgeous?! I love the color scheme and all the small details that you notice as you really look at it. I actually didn't catch this until I looked a second time, but the apple has the look of a skull. Coupled with the title, the general creepiness makes it clear this isn't going to be a happiness and rainbows type of story. It just intrigues me! Doesn't it you?? :)

Cover Reveal :: Dancing & Doughnuts by Rachel Kovaciny

Hello, my lovelies! I am SO pleased to be able to share this delightful new cover with you today. Rachel has been a longtime blogging friend of mine (and recent real life friend !!!!) and let me just say that it's not just because I think she's awesome that I want to help celebrate her stories. She really is a terrific writer and it is truly my privilege to share in her celebrations. (But just for the official record, she is pretty awesome! :)

This particular new story is set for release in August (which isn't very far away, yay!) and is book two in her Once Upon a Western anthology series. (See book one here.) It's a retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Rachel's ability to take fairytales and replace them into the wild west is loads of fun, so I cannot wait to see where this one takes us!

Isn't it delightful?! I love the textured look of the entire cover, and it perfectly matches book one, Cloaked. It sets the tone for a western and dancing and simply looks like fun, right? The colors, the shoes (especially hers, but those boots are pretty awesome too). It's definitely lovely enough to have a special place on my shelf some day!!

Hello, my lovelies! I am so, so privileged to get to share the cover of a new book coming out very, very soon! Did you know the awesome Hamlette from Hamlette's Soliloquy and The Edge of the Precipice is a writer? Of course you did, right? :) She already has one novella published in Five Magic Spindles, it's a western retelling of Sleeping Beauty, and now she's publishing a new story!! I'm definitely excited to read it, if you can't tell. :D It's basically Little Red Riding Hood reimagined as a western. Intriguing, right?

Isn't it a beauty?! It definitely gives you a hint of mystery, as well as the color scheme being so very striking. I love the mix of colors and how the red cloak stands out. And the silhouette look? Ah, I just love this cover as a whole! It's certainly beautiful enough to grab my attention and would make me pick it up off the shelf. In fact, it would look delightful on my own bookshelf! ;)

New Cover Reveal :: How a Star Falls by Amber Stokes {Plus a Giveaway}

The always lovely Amber (from Seasons of Humility) is debuting a new cover for one of her novellas today! And I get the privilege of sharing it with all of you. :) I read this sweet story last year (here's my review) and while I liked the fantasy feel of the original cover, I admit that this new cover feels more true to the adorableness of the story. (Plus who doesn't like a cute couple cover, I ask you?! ;) Incidentally, I can't believe that this story has been out for an entire year already! Time does fly, doesn't it?

Isn't it sweet? Derrick and Brielle are cute, of course, but I also rather enjoy the sun setting behind them. It gives it an evening or dusk kind of feel, and since they meet at that time of day how perfect! Plus the colors are muted and wistful, which suits this story to a T. I like this cover a great deal, I admit and it fits so well with Amber's other novellas, so win win! :) Also, I just have to mention that if you haven't read this little story yet, you must remedy that soon. And then check out While You're Awake as well! Amber's stories are delightful, you won't be disappointed, I promise. :)

I am so, so pleased to be able to share this wonderful cover from my dear friend Amber's upcoming novella. Amber is a fabulous writer and I always get so excited when she tells me she's got something new coming up. And this next book sounds perfectly delightful! But first, the cover...

Isn't it adorable?! I am always a fan of cute couple covers (is that a great alliteration or what? ;) and this one is too cute! But all the little details just make it more fun as well. The train tracks, the bouquet of leaves, the colors in the sky, it's all so pretty! Wouldn't you agree? And as I have always had a little bit of a fascination with trains, that aspect of the book most certainly intrigues me. There's just something about getting onboard and traveling surrounded by so many other people going to any number of destinations. (Kind of like air travel that way!) I love that the tracks on the cover just seemingly go on forever. This one sounds like a keeper for sure and I, for one, cannot wait to read it!

A Happy Moment {Or The Day I Met A Soon-To-Be Debut Author}

What a does this cute cover have to do with my happy moment, you may ask? A whole lot actually. :)

So this past weekend, I had the good fortune to meet Rosanna Huffman through a mutual friend. This lovely lady just happens to be a writer and that book up there just happens to be her debut novel!

And you guys! She loves to read and we proceeded to have a fabulous convo about our favorite books and writers. It was a very happy moment! She's so excited to have her book published and couldn't stop grinning the whole time we talked about it. Which I loved. Enthusiastic writers/readers make the best conversationalists, don't you think? :) The book is being published in March, so keep your eyes out for it. Or better yet, preorder it! (Yes. I am shamelessly urging you to pick up a book by someone I know. Which should totally be reason enough, right?)

Cover Reveal: Forget Me Not by Amber Stokes

So if you'll remember way back in August, I reviewed Bleeding Heart, a book written by a friend of mine. She is currently working on the prequel of that first book and I have the privilege of sharing the cover with you today! Amber is a wonderful writer and I, for one, cannot wait to get my hands on this story. :) I have every confidence that it will be fantastic. Without further ado....

Isn't it so pretty?! It's similar to Bleeding Heart, yet has it's own distinctive look at the same time. The two books would look lovely sitting side by side on a bookshelf! :) I love the dress, it's graceful and feminine. The background's so rough-looking, it makes the heroine stand out. And the fact that she's looking down with an unsure look on her face makes me so very curious what her story is. She has to be pretty strong though, to be wearing such a pretty (wedding?) dress out in that desert! The combination of the dainty dress set against a backdrop of desert certainly makes a striking display, so much so that I'd pick this one off the shelf for that very reason. What do you think?

Isn't it gorgeous? Of course I like the pretty dress. And the colors. The flowers strewn about are a nice touch also. But what strikes me is the hint of the storm clouds in the distance behind her. Which says to me that as pretty and nice as things look right now, trouble could be on the horizon. But I have every expectation that our heroine can handle it. Her face shows a determination, perhaps she's thinking that no matter what comes her way, she's going to handle it and then some. Who knows? Amber, over at Seasons of Humility, helped Sandra edit her book and when she sent word around that they wanted help to reveal the cover, I was happy to volunteer! This story sounds like it will be filled with lots of sweet and tender moments. I can't wait to read it! :) So without further ado, here you are:

Isn't it pretty? You can tell right away that it'll have romance, but I like all the little details at the bottom. Staring out over the mountainside at the beautiful trees and horizon, the log cabin sitting cozily, just waiting to invite you in. I also like the forehead touch of the couple. The fact that their eyes are closed instead of looking at each other is a nice touch. Like their connection has nothing to do with what they see, but they need to feel the other close. I like it! Of course, I'm always fond of couple covers. ;) What are your thoughts?

About the Book

The high heels of Margo’s boots echoed as she walked across the uneven planks of the porch.

She knocked.

Nothing happened.

She listened for sounds within the rustic A-frame cabin.

“Anybody home?”

No answer.

Where was Zanelli? Vinnie had assured her that he’d told his brother they were coming. She turned and scanned the edge of the woods. An eerie silence settled around her. Odd shapes took form in the dark shadows of the redwood forest. Margo shook off the uneasiness and tamped her growing irritation. She wasn’t going to be able to interview Zane if she couldn’t find him.

Suddenly, a shrill cry cut through the stillness. Margo stiffened. The cry echoed again and chills raced down her spine. It sounded like an animal in pain. She’d never heard the sound before but sensed it with bloodcurdling certainty. It came from the rear of the cabin.

Cover Reveal: The Remedy by Serena Chase

I am quite pleased to show you the cover for The Remedy today! It's book two in Serena Chase's Eyes of E'veria series. Book one is The Ryn which I just recently started and so far I'm really enjoying it. Serena's blog is one of my favorites, so when I heard they were looking for help in getting the word out for her new book, I was happy to oblige. :)

I really do like this cover. It complements the first book extremely well I think. Such pretty colors and a simple design. I love that you can see almost a whole world in her eyes. It gives the idea that there is so much more going on inside her that we can't see physically. I like her hair color too. What are your thoughts?
